Local chapters of the Afghan Diaspora Center serving communities across the United States — from California and the DMV to our literary council and Central Valley.
The Afghan Diaspora Center grows through local chapters rooted in their communities. ADC now includes four chapters — each carrying the mission forward through culture, community support, and the written word.
The GCA San Francisco Bay Area chapter is the founding chapter of the Gurbat Cultural Association network, serving Afghan diaspora communities across the San Francisco Bay Area — a region home to a vibrant and growing Afghan population.
This chapter focuses on cultural preservation, youth empowerment, Dari and Pashto language programs, and community support services for Afghan families settling and thriving throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

This chapter organizes cultural events, community gatherings, advocacy initiatives, and support programs tailored to the needs of Afghan families in the greater D.C. metro region.
